• February 27, 2015 - The firm was recently mentioned in the Cook County Record and the Courthouse News Service, regarding its federal court pet shops lawsuit, which seeks to overturn the City of Chicago's Ordinance that bans retail pet shops. The firm filed this action on behalf of its outstanding animal welfare-focused Chicago pet shops, Park Pet Shop and Pocket Puppies.
• February 24, 2015 - The firm has filed a lawsuit in the Northern District of Illinois on behalf of local pet shops, aiming to overturn the City of Chicago's Ordinance, which bans retail pet shops outright, on constitutional grounds. We are proud to represent such a dignified collection of pet shops. While we cannot comment on the status of the lawsuit at this time, we assure you that we are doing everything in our power to protect their interests as well as the thousands of healthy, happy puppies that are depending on us.
